Dr. Elaine Henson RNC DNP ANP B/C CCD, is a board-certified adult nurse practitioner.

A graduate of the University San Diego with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice she also graduated from the University Pennsylvania with an MSN and Nurse Practitioner in Adult Health

She has completed post-graduate education and board certification as clinical densitometrist certified by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry in 2017. She is an expert in women’s health as well as bone health.

 

She founded and owned two practices in Lake Havasu, AZ in 1987 Women’s Medical Health Centers and  in 2007 Women’s Bone Density Testing and Treatment Center providing care women in the Colorado River Valley for 25 years.

     She continues her passion to positively impact the health of thousands of women through her work as a primary care provider and as a public educator. She is also a seasoned national speaker well versed on health care of women, menopause, and osteoporosis. She completed her doctorate dissertation on “Screening for Post-Menopausal Osteoporosis in Women Ages 30-64 Review of a Pilot Program in Primary Care."
